Ticking God's List

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them...."Romans 12:6, NKJ

Have you ever felt this twinge of jealousy when you see someone achieve so much. In simple terms ticking all the boxes.

You know deep within you that you could be ticking your list too but procrastination, time indiscipline, and lack of priorities will not just let you tick those boxes and tasks God has designed for you to tick.

Daily prompts from His Spirit have turned into weekly prompts, monthly prompts now have rolled by into years. In place of a sense of fulfillment is a huge sense of guilt.

Your place is important! God’s plan isn’t the same without you! Like a jigsaw puzzle with a missing piece, God’s plan without you in your proper place messes up a whole lot when you are not in your place. Something is missing, there are gaps.

He is a patient God yeah; but don't think he can never find a replacement. When God finds ways to fill your spot, He often has to tap into others to do double-duty to cover your place. Most especially when so many souls are tied to the tasks assigned! The best plan is having discovered your tasks, function there!

Your task may be a place of serving behind the scenes or speaking in front of people (Youth, Teenagers, Married People, Elderly people, Singles, Homeless, Prostitutes). Your place may be one of support, leadership, helps, hospitality, teaching, administration, the list goes on ..... There is no doubt you have been gifted and anointed by God to play a particular role on earth. Anything less than that will be totally unfulfilling. Anything less than bearing much fruit in your life will leave you with a big sense of dissatisfaction.

Ticking God's List is a progressive work and as you grow and mature. Learn to lean on His grace, even on days you fall short , pick yourself up! He is able to empower you to start ticking his list from your youth! Be encouraged! If you will seek the Lord, Ask him if to reveal your score sheet in life to you, Ask him if you are making him happy, He will show you. He will give you all the grace you need to be the person He’s called you to be.

Drop the jealousy! ask him for mercy, Get to work!

Remember: Ephesians 5:16 Living Bible (TLB)

So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don’t be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good.

"Father, I want to find and fulfill my place in your plan. I want to tick your list! I want my life to bear much fruit. I ask that you please open my eyes to any adjustments I need to make to receive more grace to tick your list. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
